Web & app development / Workflow improvement / Multilingual support

Making complex things clear.

With a multilingual and workflow-improvement perspective, I organize complex information and manual processes into websites, apps, and systems that are easier to use.

Multilingual & responsive

Information design for global users

I consider language, culture, and screen size so people can find the information they need without getting lost.

Approx. 40% time reduced

More efficient document generation

By centralizing data and generating PDF and Excel documents automatically, repetitive entry, checking, and manual document creation can be reduced.

One source of truth

Centralizing scattered information

Information spread across Excel, Word, and paper is brought together to reduce checking mistakes, search time, and duplicate entry.

  • Tone, terminology, and nuance adjustment

Workflow automation & small tools/apps

I turn manual work around Excel, CSV, PDF, certificates, and repeated checks into small tools and apps that are easier to use.

How we work together

01.

Organize

Clarify the goals, information, and current pain points so the right paths and priorities become clear.

02.

Design

Design the words, screens, and flow so they make sense for both the people using them and the people maintaining them.

03.

Build

Bring code, design, and localization together, with support for post-launch improvements where needed.

Concept style demos

Concept style demos

These samples are used to explore tone, information density, and brand direction before production. The structure, colors, writing, and visual direction can be adjusted to fit each real project.

My story

Eric

Understated systems that communicate clearly.

At 16, I moved from the Netherlands to Japan as an international student and began life in a place where I did not yet understand the language or culture. I know what it feels like when the information you need is hard to find, when explanations do not quite make sense, and when you do not know who to ask. That experience taught me how unsettling it can be when information does not reach the people who need it.

Since then, I have cared about not just putting information somewhere, but shaping it so it can actually be understood. Today I work on management systems and websites for Japanese language education, while also working freelance. Through multilingual websites and apps, translation and localization, and workflow tools, I organize complex information and manual processes into forms that are easier to use.

What matters to me is not only how polished something looks, but how little burden it creates for the people viewing and maintaining it. It should be understandable for native and non-native speakers alike, and usable even by people who are not comfortable with computers. I aim to build understated systems where the necessary information quietly reaches the right people.
